Evening Standard Film Award Winners


I dont know how I missed out on these fantastic nominations, but last night the Evening Standard film awards took place in the UK. You can compare these awards to The Critics Choice awards in the US, as it is voted on by the critics. Here we see a lot of the US contenders were snubbed big time here - and some great surprises emerged! Here they are -- too bad its too late to have any effect on the Oscar nominees:

wow - weird, exciting, and interesting choices
(no idea which films were up for nods ... but with more US choices such as Wrestler, Doubt, Benjamin Button .. it looks like the snubbed a lot of the normal nominees. FUN!)
