Although most Academy members (mostly actors are interviewed) do not reveal who they voted for to win the Oscars, some do slip up in interviews, or are just honest about it. As far as I could tell - here are the votes that have been announced by Academy actor-voters.
BEST PICTURE
*Angelina Jolie was upfront in her love for "Benjamin Button" and said she voted for it.
* Cate Blanchett also said she voted for "Banjamin Button"
* Sharon Stone, an outspoken Gay activist, no surprise, claimed she chose "Milk"
* Roger Ebert endorsed "Milk" as well
* Melissa Leo called "Slumdog Millionaire" the film of the year
BEST ACTRESS
* Both Angelina Jolie and Anne Hathaway said they voted for Meryl Streep to win.
* Sean Penn said Kate Winslet had given his favorite performance.
* Clint Eastwood, director of Changeling, backed his star (Angelina Jolie), saying she was the best of the year, and got his vote
* Angelina Jolie also said she had been passing around her screener copy of "Frozen River" to friends and talking up Melissa Leo's performance.
* Roger Ebert officially endorsed Melissa Leo for the win.
BEST ACTOR
* Sharon Stone called Mickey Rourke's performance the best of the year.
* Roger Ebert endorsed Mickey Rourke for the oscar.
* Sean Penn is on record for endorsing Mickey Rourke, and Mickey Rourke is endorsing Sean Penn.
* Richard Jenkins said he hoped for a Mickey Rourke win.
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS
* Kate Winslet openly supports Penelope Cruz for the win.
* Salma Hayek has been calling for a Penelope Cruz win since the beginning.
* Sharon Stone mentioned her vote went to Viola Davis.
