Last night marked my second night in the man-cave (aka Nicholas' new apartment). I must say I do love it ever so. It feels like home to me. Its a beautiful apartment. We unloaded the last load of his stuff from his car so he is now officially moved in.
Then we enjoyed his microwave which is the size of a moms minivan. It also has a light button, and can be doubled as a kitchen air conditioner. Love it.
I enjoyed some scones his mother made with apple butter, he enjoyed pizza from our first night there, and then we enjoyed each other :)
We later plugged up his Xbox and dueled to the death at Mortal Kombat. (I think I would have bee the overall winner at that - TANYA) Then we played both a car racing game and a tennis game and he kicked my ass at both. I've never been much of a gamer - although I enjoy fighting games from time to time. I used to watch Stephen play Silent Hill all night - that game is scary regaurdless of if youre playing or not. But with Nicholas, I had fun just playing with him (hehe) and not worrying about if I was good or bad, winning or losing, it didn't matter. As long as I'm with him - I am a winner.
We headed off to bed sometime in the wee hours of the night. I love his air conditioner (to an extent) because it covers some noises that tend to come from him (and i) in the evening or morning hours.
I must say I love this play, and I love this man. All is good!
