Daily Amy: She's Out (sort of)

Amy Winehouse left the hospital today for the first time in over a week. The picture to the left isnt great - but I couldnt find better one head on. Reports said she is looking better physically than she has in a long time. Thats great. And in other good news, she was just leaving to go to the studio to rehearse for her performance at the Nelson Mandela birthday bash which is Friday, and Glastonbury the following day. Then she returned to the hospital after the visit. That sounds more like it - going in the right direction.

Everyone has been blasting her though because she was caught smoking a cigarette. Now, I know that is bad, especially for someone in the early stages of sickness - but come on people - cut her a break. At least it wasnt crack. Cigarrettes are just as addictive as drugs. Personally if she cant go cold turkey, Id rather her just do the ciggys and lay off the drugs - at least that'd be a step towards getting better. IF she could rid herself of the drugs - then maybe she could work on getting off ciggys.

In other good news the reports of her rehearsals were GREAT. "She went into the studio for a few hours and sang her heart out. She sounded amazing. No matter what else is happening in her life, Amy can still turn it on.” - says her dad who joined her at the rehearsal. Thousands of fans were outside the hospital and the studio to wish Amy well. Many giving her flowers, get well cards, and hugs.

Keep it up Amy!
