Amy Winehouse narrowly escaped having the cops called on her yesterday while she was eating dinner in St. Lucia. She was making her way to her chair, and a fellow guest pulled her chair out in front of Amy blocking her way, Amy asked her to move and apparently the guest rolled her eyes. Amy then picked up a glass of water and dumped it on the head of the guest and pushed her aside to make her way to her table. When Amy found out they were going to call the cops, she went back to the table and apologized to the woman, and no cops were called.
It seems Amy isn't the most popular guest with hotel staff. Apparently they are ready for her to leave. One employee of the hotel said the following:
“She walks around in a bathing suit each day with her boobs on show, gets drunk, gropes waiters and is rude to male staff. She’s hardly the most popular guest.”
However the manager of the hotel where she is staying had this to say:
"We couldn't be happier to have Amy Winehouse staying at our hotel. She is a wonderful guest and has delighted us on a few occasions with her own singing and piano concerts. We hope she extends her stay with us for as long as she desires. She is always welcome."
