This is fun news for me. Katherine Heigel, who apparently runs where the bigger money is, has been trying to get out of Gray's Anatomy for a long time - and has been doing nothing but trashing the show to reporters, and slamming the writers for not writing her good enough material (even though she cannot show up to rehearsals because of her "film career"). Rumors had been circulating that they would kill off her character and release her from the show, granting her wishes. However the creator of Grays Anatomy has said: Katherine is signed on, according to her contract, for 2 more years with the show. She will complete her contractual agreements to Gray's Anatomy.
