Haters!

If youre gay, bi, trans, or curio (or you are supportive of any of those groups) then you have no choice for a presidential candidate who will stand up 100% for gay rights. This is sad, and discouraging. Both candidates stood in a public forum with Pastor Rick Warren on the 16th of August, in front of a crowd of christian-evangelicals (aka crazies). Obama agreed to join McCain saying he had nothing to hide, nor anything that he feels "undermines" their beliefs. So the event turned into a gay-hate seminar.

When the candidates were asked to define marriage, this is what followed:
McCain: "Union. A union between one man and one woman only. Plain and simple, that is my definition of marriage. I strongly support preserving the unique status of marriage between a man and a woman."
Obama: "I believe marriage is a union between a man and a woman. For me, as a Christian - God is also involved in the equation. It's a sacred union."

- can you say: trying to win votes Obama? Of course at the Christian crowd he puts God into it. And hides the hints that he "says" he supports gay rights -- guess not enough to admit it in front of this crowd.

When will these candidates - and the damn voters - realize there is much more important issues to govern than love between 2 people. What about economy? War? The deficit? Global warming? NAH - lets just spend all our time on the gays.
