Daily Amy: New Album (?)

Amy Winehouse has been doing a lot of things lately - and just recently last week music came back into the news. She is fighting back against her own erratic behavior and is ready to reveal whats been going on. How you may ask? In her music. She has written over 40 songs for a forthcoming album. Half of which she reports are recordable and or finished. She hinted to Rolling Stone lately that even though she may (is) be on drugs, she is still writing, and the pain of being seperated from her husband has allowed her to write some of her most painful and dramatic songs. Producer Mark Ronson who was (is?) working with Amy on the James Bond theme song heard about 12 songs and was reported to say that this album will blow "Back to Black" out of the water. That would be insane. That album is flawless in my opinion (just last week Entertainment Weekly named it the 5th best album to be released in the past 25 years, calling it a classic). "The album is filled with tons of pain, sadness, and is extremely dramatic. It plays to all of Amys strengths, and her voice as we all know, is astounding in every way." Ronson was quoted as saying.

But when will we get to hear the album? Thats the tricky question. A couple of months ago Amy's record label gave her an ultimatum: lay off the drugs or we wont produce the album. Well she just completed a 2 1/2 week stay in the hospital and appears to be clean now, how long it will last is the question. I hope I can hear this album sometime this year. I know it will be amazing.
