Amy Winehouse delivered a new look last night. CURLY HAIR and tear streamed makeup.
This is strange.
I'd imagine she's sad she cant see her husband.

Daily Amy: Amy refuses to pay

Amy Winehouse has refused to pay 30,000 for her husbands rehab (Blake was admitted yesterday when he left jail and since he has had no income was reportedly relying on Amy to pay his rehab bill). Well Amy has said: No No No. A friend close to the Winehouse's said: "Blake thought he could snap his fingers and Amy would hand over 30 grand. But so far she has refused, and he is not happy."

Amy's dad sings another tune as well, saying Amy is over Blake. "Amy hasn't been to jail to see him for months. I don't think she cares one bit. Blake is a no-hoper. I want Amy to forget about him. The best thing that could possibly happen is for them to go their separate ways.”

Blake however is still feeling the love. He told reporters yesterday: “Tell Amy, ‘I love you and I wish I could be with you.’ I just can’t wait to get this over and done with and see Amy again.”

I think these two are made for each other and need to be reunited. But thats just me.

Daily Amy 2: 10 Ways to Comeback

1) This ones kind of obvious. Rehab - yes yes yes.

2) Enough already with the street brawling. We get it, you're a tough little bird. Now its time to behave.

3) About Blake. Seems to us he's been nothing but trouble for you -- let him get through his own treatment program and you through yours, then maybe we can work something out. Trust me, I watch "Intervention" religiously.

4) You actually have real talent. Something about that fact just makes it that much sadder to see you lower yourself to whackdoodle-of-the-month club. Keep singing!

5) Not to get too granular here, but the pink ballet slippers have got to go. Seriously. They were cute once. Maybe 18 months ago when they were new and unspoilt. Now they look like chum. Please dispose of them ASAP.

7) Speaking of animals. Until you've proven that you can keep yourself -- and all animals in your care -- safe and off drugs, it's probably a good idea to confine yourself to a stuffed animal or one of those cute Tamagotchi thingamajigs.

8) Put on some weight. It will make those impromptu seaside visits so much more photogenic.

9) It's time for a new look. When you're enough of a caricature to rival Sarah Palin for this year's most popular Halloween costume (but wait, there's more! And more!), it is time to enlist a stylist. Lose the signature bouffant (it's trite at this point) and the layer of grime. Perhaps a little deep pore cleansing from the spa fairy will help you emerge from that battered chrysalis a vibrant, new Amy (remember her?).

10) Use animosity (mine) for Gwyneth Paltrow to fuel your recovery. You only need look at today's brainless GOOP update to get you over that first bump and on the road to giving this wannabe Londoner a proper kick in the knickers.

A Pop Orgasm

That gay Ryan Seacrest announced on his radio station today that tonight is LA Madonna will be joined onstage for her Sticky and Sweet tour with: Britney Spears .. AND .. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE! Together at last! The ex-couple will reunite and we can all thank the Queen of Pop Madonna, for making the reunion happen. No one knows for sure whats going to happen ... but I wish I was there to see it!!

Daily Amy: Banned from Blake

Blake Fielder Civil is in the Life Works Community center going through rehabilitation treatment after his release from jail yesterday. Amy was not seen at his release .. now the news is out as to why. She was banned. He was banned from any visitors (with Amy specifically named in the court document) for the first seven days of his treatment. He is also banned from leaving the facility, and has a ankle bracelt on in case he tries to leave.

Amy camp says that she is far from happy about the decision. "She is not happy but it is Blake who is the angry one. He thought he would be able to walk out and straight into her arms."

In a quick interview with the Sun yesterday Blake said: "It's tough inside - bloody horrible. But I am out and thats all that matters. Its brilliant. I'm gonna get myself sorted. I'm gonna get my life back. And I'm gonna see my wife and take her knickers down."

Daily Amy: Attacking Again

Amy Winehouse was leaving her house today, presumably to pay a visit to her husband in rehab (wish she'd stay with him), and she attacked 2 photographers outside her home. I honestly dont blame her ... leave her alone dammit. She will hit a bitch

Tina retires Palin

Tina Fey said today that now that the election is over she will retire her Sarah Palin impersonation on Saturday Night Live. Although it will be sad to see the impersonation go, it makes me very happy to know even the thought of this woman will be disappearing for good ... for a while at least.

We did it! Not only did Barack win (in a BIG way) but the democrats took over majority in the senate and the house.

My Halloween Tribute

I know its a little late, but here was my Halloween costume. That's me as Amy Winehouse, and Nicholas as Blake. I tried to be pretty Amy and he was drugged out and beaten up Blake. We had a great night! Thought I would share it with all of you!

Daily Amy 2: BLAKE RELEASED!

Blake, Amy's husband, was released from jail today!! Not much news to report on this yet, other than he went straight to rehab and Amy was not there when he was released. I am sure the news will pour in about these two. Lets hope they help one another get better, and good for him for going to rehab on his own volition.

Daily Amy: Demo's Coming!!

Amy Winehouse has made a huge step forward in working on her new album. She has hit the demo stage with at least 12 tracks, Im told. The CEO of Universal Music Group, Lucian Grange, said that he had heard Winehouse's new stuff, and it was "sensational". "Amy came to my office with some demos, and she played me stuff stuff on an accoustic guitar, and this is truly some of the best material I have heard in years. This music is sensational!"

He went on to stress his support for the artist. "I am an optimist, and I believe in her. Universal is in a lot of trouble if she doesn't get better. She is certainly our most popular artist right now, and shes a great girl. We all want her at her top form to release and tour this fantastic new album."

There is no release date yet for the album, but we can only hope things continue to get better for Miss Winehouse.

Where are those medical records?

Sarah Palin has yet to release her medical records - even though she said in an interview last week she would release them as have her running mate McCain, and Obama and Biden. Well its the day before the election and she has released no medical records. You could just take this as another lie from the Palin camp, but I tend to dig further. Could it be possible that her latest baby, the adorable one with downs syndrome, is not hers? And that she is using the child as a prop for a presidential campaign? Thats a bit harsh, but where are the pictures of the pregnant Palin last year? Where are the medical records? Where are they Miss Palin?? What are you hiding?? Perhaps they in fact say that she is a head case.

Vote tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the day people, no matter what the republican mass emails and calls may tell you (which by the way are telling some voters, mainly african americans -- they say to go vote on wednesday). And I beg of you to go out and vote for a change for America, and that change of course, is Barack Obama. Let yourself be heard. VOTE!

Movie Review: Saw 5

Saw 5

So Nicholas and I took a break from our movie-date this weekend, I had a friend in town, so Lucas sat beside me this week as we saw Saw 5. It was after all Halloween weekend, and we had just eaten our body weight in chili's food and I wanted to sit down for two hours so we went to the theater and Saw was the only thing playing at that time (besides the Haunting of Molly Hartley, which is rated PG-13, and I do not like watching scary movies that are not rated R). My history with the Saw films is this. I saw the first one, it didn't really live up to my standards, however I enjoyed the 2nd film. The third was one of the worst movies I've seen, and I didn't see the fourth. So going into this I knew I was a movie behind, and wondering how it would affect me.

Lets just say this, Saw V is made for people who LOVED Saw 1-4. People who love them so much they, say, may want to see them again. Never fear, you don't need to go out and buy the dvd's of those films, just go see Saw V. This movie shows so many scenes from the previous film, one wonders why they exist (or more importantly why this one exists). Honestly, the Saw series is not one that depends heavily on a plot, but this installment surely tries to make you care about the back story, which I am sure no one cares about. Might I just add that the killer "Jigsaw" (played by Corbin Bell) dies in the 3rd film. Never fear he is still featured here ... in the never-ending flashbacks and tape recordings. (Corbin himself is a producer of the film).

This film is about a detective who has been on the Jigsaw case from the beginning (I dont really remember him from the other films, but I am guessing he was in them). Another detective/victim of the Jigsaw, who survived, finds out that said other detective was in on some of the murders and sets out to serve justice. Are you interested? I wasn't either. This plot is boring and stupid. Saw 5 only succeeds on its side plot, 5 people trapped in a maze of the jigsaw's terror games. There are 5 different rooms, and one of them must die for a door to open and the remaining slip through. (Nevermind that Jigsaw is dead and couldn't have really made this trap 2 movies ago). The "game" between these 5 is actually fun, in that disgusting terror-porn Saw way.

Obviously people go to Saw to be grossed out. The movies aren't scary, not at all. But they are shocking and sometimes terrifying. This one lies somewhere in the middle. The begining torture segment is rather terrifying and completely gory. The ones in the middle are forgettable, and the end packs a punch. If you have a weak stomach, this isn't the film for you (however its pretty tame considering some of the other Saw films). Also if you like solid acting, this isn't the film for you. Looking for an interesting plot? Not the film for you. Interested in something new or creative? Nope, not here.

The Saw franchise will continue though. I expect every Halloween we will have a new Saw film, until people stop going. Every movie has debuted at number 1, this one no exception. And VH1's show "Scream Queens" is looking for a lead for Saw 6 right now, so it's around for another year at least. I don't know how much more I can take, but I will say this: The end of the film leaves you hanging, as would an hour long television show with a cliff-hanger ending. Its definately got that: to be continued ending. Which I hate. I'm sure some people will love this movie, I however am not one of those people.

Daily Amy: Getting Well

A rep for Amy Winehouse says that since leaving the hospital with a "clean bill of health" Amy has covered herself in nicotine patches and is trying her hardest to quit smoking. She has also gained over 10 pounds, and is on a new eating regimen to gain weight. She looks great, heres some more pics to celebrate!
