Tour Extended!

More good news for Britney, her tour is selling out! Its selling so well that she has added over 10 more dates to the US leg of the tour. Good job Brit.

Meanwhile in bad news PETA is protesting Britney Spears for using elephants in her video for the song Circus.

Britney sales numbers HUGE

Britney Spears new album CIRCUS (which is great) has outsold all the competition. Studio execs put the original expectation for the album at 300,000 units sold. Then mid-week when it was flying off the shelves they raised their prediction to 450,000. However Britney has beat even that. In its first full week of release Circus has sold 504,507 copies! WOW! (Thats beating both Kanye and Beyonce's new cds by 100,000). GO BRIT!

Britney will be #1 in a big way

The people at the Billboard charts are predicting a huge opening week for Britney Spears new album "Circus". They already know she will be #1 for the week, but how much is still in the open. Its on track to sell 450,000 copies. The Britney camp had hoped for as much as 340,000 - so they blew that out of the water. And last year her album Blackout only sold 290,000. She's baaaack.

Happy Birthday Britney

Happy 27th birthday today to Britney Spears. She has been such a train wreck the past 2 years, however the Princess of Pop is on track to have a killer comeback. She has a fantastic new cd Cirucs, which drops today on her birthday, and is looking KILLER (as you can see in the pic). She also announced the tour dates for her Circus CD tour. Britney performed her live version of Womanizer again for the 3rd day in a row. This time on X-Factor (which is the British American Idol, which was before AI and known to actually make top top selling singers, and not Taylor Hicks type hacks). I think it was good - maybe not as good as the second one, but still very good:

Britney performed the live version of Womanizer again yesterday - and this performance was just as hot. Good job brit!

The Comeback performance

Britney is back in a BIG way. She performed her hit single Womanizer last night at the Bambi awards in Germany, and she twisted it up with a very cool circus theme. So yeah, she lip synched, but come on its Britney. And do we all remember her disasterous Gimme More performance at the VMA's only 8 months ago? This is a GREAT performance of a GREAT song off of a GREAT album, and Britney looks GREAT. Fast forward to about 40 seconds to when she begins, and enjoy!

Britneys Back!

Let me say this: I have heard Britney Spears new cd "Circus" and despite 2 weak songs, this is a FANTASTIC album. I thought her last album "Blackout" was quite good (despite her wild ways at the time), however this album is a step above, and now that Britney is well and will be touring this album, I smell a huge success. MTV joins in on the Britney comeback with a new documentary on Spears which is airing later this month .. here are the previews and a clip or 2:

It WAS True

It WAS true afterall. Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake joined Madonna onstage last night at her Sticky and Sweet tour in LA. And reports are that it was a brilliant show! Unfortunately the 3 didn't take the stage together .. however Britney was out first and sang "Bedtime Stories" and "Human Nature" alongside Madonna. And Britneys new single "Womanizer" was played as she entered the stage. Justin came in act 2 and performed "4 Minutes" alongside Madonna, and the two apparently added a 2 minute dance break to the song, which was highly choreographed and brought the house down. A Pop Orgasm

That gay Ryan Seacrest announced on his radio station today that tonight is LA Madonna will be joined onstage for her Sticky and Sweet tour with: Britney Spears .. AND .. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE! Together at last! The ex-couple will reunite and we can all thank the Queen of Pop Madonna, for making the reunion happen. No one knows for sure whats going to happen ... but I wish I was there to see it!!

Britney Spears seems to be on an upclimb in her career. She won 3 VMA's, she released her first single from her new album (the single is Womanizer, the album will be called Circus), which is climbing up digital charts. She yesterday told reporters she will be taking her new album on the road, doing a massive tour! However, her past is catching up to her today. Adnan Ghalib, that horrible boyfriend/paparrazzi Britney had during her crazy times, claims to have a sex tape and he's putting it on the market. He says its a 2 hour sex tape with him and Britney, and YES, she is wearing the pink wig. Allegedly a porn site has offered him 10 million dollars. What a jerk.
