Speaking of Scary Spice, Mel B, not only is she hosting Miss Universe, being the star of her own reality show (with that chub Joey Fat-one) in the Singing Office, shoula won Dancing with the Stars, finished the Spice Girls Reunion Tour, working on another solo album (this one aimed at the US), she also turned down a role in the Sex and the City film, it is being reported. It seems that Mel B was the first choice for Sara Jessica Parkers new assistant. As we all know that role went to Jennifer Hudson in the end, but I find it funny that Mel B turned it down. Maybe she shouldnt have? That movie was a big hit (although I didnt care to see it - I would have if she woulda done it though). The reasoning, shes hard at work on her US debut album, and wants it to be awesome, so she didnt want to get distracted. Good reason I say. I have her other 2 albums which sold well in England and Europe but I dont believe were even released here. They were called "Hot" and "LA State of Mind" - check them out, both available on amazon. Plus I also saw her in Rent on Broadway a couple 5 or 6 years ago and she was GREAT. Anyhow, enough.
