I must be an idiot - I had NO idea that Amy had a performance planned for today - July 4th!? Am I a bad fan? No. But alas she did perform today at the Rock In Rio concert held in Madrid. About a month ago she performed disasterously at the Rock at Rio in Lisboa concert. However she then went to the hospital and turned in 2 pretty strong concerts at the Nelson Mandela bash, and at Glastonbury (if you leave out that whole punching the fan thing).
Reports from this gig are glowing. The reviewers say that its the strongest Amy has sung in later months, she appeared sober, happy, and in great spirits. After 3 songs she took off her 4 inch tall stilletto pumps and put on a pair of white flats, which made her even more comfortable. She even picked up the guitar and played along with the band. This woman is just unstopabble I think. And the love that she gets all around the world is unbeliavable. Nothing is going to stop her! Keep going Amy!
