GQ magazine is probably getting quite angry at their choices for the hosts for last nights men of the year awards. They chose Queen Queer Elton John and England's least favorite drunk Lily Allen to host the awards. And things didnt go to well. In front of an audience comprising the crème of the entertainment world, the 23-year-old Allen sipped champagne on stage until she began slurring and swearing. Nearer to the end of the night Lily said (Slurred): "Now its a very important part of the night." To which Elton responded: "What? Its time for you to have another drink?" Addicts dont like being called out, so Lily responded to the industry legend: "Fuck off Elton. I am 40 years younger than you. I have my whole life ahead of me." Classy huh? The audience literally went silent. Elton, one not to be topped, then responded: "I could still snort you under the table." Which caused a couple of laughs, but you could tell the upscale audience wasn't enjoying the barbed exchanges. Lily kept on going by saying: "I dont even know what youre talking about. Fuck off Elton, and fuck you!" She then left the stage, leaving Elton alone with a confused look.
She did return later to join Elton in presenting Tony Bennett with a style icon award. Lily added to his introduction speech: "No matter how old he is, I'd still fuck him." -- Wow. Just wow.
