With fears of Amy's health, fears of her backing out, and fears of her request for 2 cases of Jack Daniels, Amy did turn up at the Bestival Isle of Wight yesterday. She however arrived on stage 45 minutes late, however it didn't take long to turn the audience around. NME reports that: "This was Amy at her summers best. After a string of weak, or uneven performances, Winehouse somehow turned out a vocal masterclass at this weekends Bestival Isle of Wight show. Although late, Amy arrived on stage with one thing on her mind, to sing her heart out." This is Amy's last scheduled concert for this summer. So she made it through her summer tour, with only cancelling one show. (Pretty good compared to the 6 stops she cancelled last year). Now I hope she takes the time to get clean, finish her album, and gain some weight.
