Amy Winehouse has sparked new fears for her health after she ordered 48 bottles of whiskey as part of her backstage demands for the UK Bestival performance, which is today. And the star has shocked festival organizers by demanding 48 bottles of Jack Daniel's to be ready for her and her entourage to enjoy before she hits the stage, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.
A source tells the publication, "It's common for artists to make requests for food and beverages before they arrive. But organizers have heard Miss Winehouse has ordered in an extremely large amount of Jack Daniel's, in fact, a ridiculous amount that she and her team could not possibly consume during their short stay. And festival bosses fear the huge amount of alcohol may lead to trouble. Everyone is really excited about getting Amy to perform here, and naturally there are now fears she is planning something wild."
It was announced earlier this week that organizers of Bestival have been forced to org anise a back-up plan in case Winehouse cancels at the last minute again. The star was recently threatened with legal action for scrapping her planned performance at a French musical festival just hours before she was due on stage.
