Murderers!

Finally, years after Anna Nicole Smith's death, Howard K. Stern has been arrested and turned himself in for a long line of crimes (along with the "Doctor" Sandeep Kapoor). The 2 were charged with 8 felonies. Including:
* Conspiracy to furnish controlled substances to Smith between July, 2004 and January 2007.
* Stern and Kapoor were charged with one count of unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance.
* Stern was charged with unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance between June 2004 and January 2007.
* Stern and Kapoor were each charged with obtaining a prescription for opiates by "fraud, deceit or misrepresentation."
* Stern and Kapoor were both also charged with one count of obtaining a prescription for opiates by giving a false name or address.
* Kapoor and Stern were also charged with one count of "prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict."

Bail was set at 20,000 each, and somehow they both got the money and now are out of jail.

I KNEW this bastard had something to do with Anna's death. And I personally think that his aiding an addict, who was in no state to make her own decisions, helped kill her.

Send them to jail!

Anna Nicole: The Opera

The London creators of the hugely successful "Jerry Springer: The Opera" are back with their next project: "Anna Nicole Smith: The Opera". The production is in early stages now and is set to premiere in the UK in 2011, at the Convent Garden Opera House. The director of the opera, Elaine Padmore, said "It is not going to be a horrible, sleazy evening. It is not going to be tawdry; it is going to be witty, clever, thoughtful and sad. In broad outline, it will tell the story of her life, the people who influenced her, her progress. Clearly the story is about a woman who met an ancient gentleman in a wheelchair, but it's not going to be a straight narrative; choices have been made about significant moments, selecting which incidents in her life are to be built up."

The opera will be directed by Richard Jones and the libretto will be provided by Richard Thomas, who was also the co-creator of Jerry Springer the Opera.

Padmore added, "It is not just a documentary about her, but a parable about celebrity and what it does to people. It can be moving, it can be funny and it tells universal truths about human frailty."
