Daily Amy: Love note from Pete

Pete Doherty is now making a play to win Amy Winehouse's hand. Saturday Amy received a huge bouquet of flowers outside of her St. Lucia suite with a note and poem from Pete Doherty. In the note he wished her luck with her divorce and the poem read:

"Love is not lost, it is found. Singing raven, raven-haired cherub imp."

Pete to release solo album .. with....

Looks like we may get some new Amy Winehouse sooner than later. Pete Doherty, legendary drug addict and babyshambles front man, will soon release a solo cd. And he spent quite a lot of time with Amy Winehouse about 6 months ago, in the height of her terrible addiction (remember their youtube hijinks?). Anyhow it is rumored that they recorded 2 songs together - and one may appear on his solo cd. I hope so!!

Daily Amy 2: Duet with Pete

England has 2 famous drug users, Amy and Pete Doherty. Whereas Amy has been seen heavily over the past 2 years, Pete has been a druggie for the past 10 years, and its a shock to many that he still lives. He is the lead singer of a band called BabyShambles, and is a friend of Amy's (remember the youtube videos they posted a year ago where they played with baby rats?!). Well now Amy is setting up time in the recording studio for the 2 to do a duet, which will be featured on the next Babyshambles album. And already there is TONS of controversy. The lyrics to the song include: "I'm piping almost every night. I watch my dreams float by out of sight." The story of the song is: Someone who takes too much drugs and watches their life get ruined, wanting to stop, but taking drugs anyway. Woah.

Pete D.O.A. then alive

Things with Amy Winehouse are bad, yes, but things with Pete Doeherty are worse. Sadly the Babyshambles frontman, was declared dead last night from a drug overdose, only then to 2 minutes later be revived by medics. Thankfully he is alive and in the hospital recovering.

What else is it going to take to stop an addict??

Daily Amy 2: Amy and Pete

Babyshambles singer, british druggie, rocker, and tabloid junkie Pete Doehrty spoke out about his friend Amy Winehouse. He said:

"Its heartbreaking really. She's not been married a year, and her husband is locked up. Its a lonely life, being a celebrity. And the papers constantly hound her. I feel sorry for her, and I love her. But for her health - I am staying away."

Good! Basically he just admitted to being a druggie, but at least he is keeping him and his drugs at a distance from my Amy.
