Jason Castro SIGNED

My favorite Idol from last years batch, Jason Castro, struck it big this week and was signed to Atlantic Records. Honestly I wonder why it took so long. Castro became the first Idol to ever land #1 on the itunes charts with his download of "Over the Rainbow" which he performed on the show. I cannot wait for the album, he's quite good - and not bad to look at :)

Idol Albums

Well the winner of last seasons American Idol, David Cook, and the runner-up David Archeleta, have new albums coming out very soon. Who cares? I didn't really like either. However I was thrilled to hear that the 3rd person signed from last season was Jason Castro. Jason was my favorite the whole time - and I had/have a tv crush on him. I loved his voice, and I am so glad he is recording an album. It will be slated for release just in time for Christmas. Merry Christmas me.
