OH MY GOD I wanna see this tour! Here's some photos from Madonnas Sticky and Sweet Tour:

New promo shot

Here is a new promo photo for my show: No Darkness Round My Stone, opening at the trap door theatre next Thursday! Come see it!

Not Real - yet

This is a fake poster made by die hard fans of the Dark Knight and Christopher Nolan Batman films. Apparently a huge group of fans are signing a petition to make Marion Cottilard (the oscar award winner for best actress last year) Catwoman in the upcoming film. Interesting choice. Its been played already fantastically by Michelle Pfieffer, and horribly by Halle Berry. Rumors have been flying as to who will play her in the next film (Angelina Jolie, Cotillard) - but Christopher Nolan has announced who his top choice is. And its an odd one. He wants CHER to be Catwoman. Yes you heard it right. His publicist has said: "Cher is Nolan's first choice to play Catwoman. He wants to her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years. The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry's purring creations."

Cohens heat up Venice

Burn After Reading, the latest film from the Cohen brothers, opened the Venice Film Festival. And the whole cast showed up!! Cohen bros, Brad, George, Frances, and TILDA! Whee! The film is getting amazing buzz! I cannot wait for this one!!

I wish it was me

When something bad or funny happens to a bad person - I love it. Is that so wrong? Well OJ Simpson, the biggest crook alive today (did i mention double murderer as well), got beaten up ... by his daughter! It appears his daughter got into a verbal fight with OJ's new girlfriend (poor poor woman) and then OJ tried to step in, telling his daughter "Don't talk to her like that". Well she then proceeded to punch daddy down to the ground and kick him whilst he layed on the floor. Good for her! I only wish it was me doing the punching.

M.I.A. pulls a Jay Z

Thank God M.I.A. is pulling a Jay Z, and coming out of her so called "retirement" after only 2 months. She proclaimed retirement at the Bonaroo Music Festival earlier this year. However, since the festival, she has receieved some high spikes in sales. Her song "Paper Planes" was featured in the Pineapple Express trailer, and since then the single has risen to the top 10 on iTunes, as well as her her second album Kala. These are the biggest sales for M.I.A. her career to this point. She has never sold well, but has always receieved critical acclaim. So now, because of the success, she is changing her tune. She tells entertainment weekly:
"Well, [Bonaroo] it was my last ever show. And it still is. I stopped touring after that and I didn’t want to make music again. I was quite happy to just leave it all behind. I was happy with what I had achieved. Now, with the success of “Paper Planes,” there’s pull for me to make another record. Even my mum believes in me more [laughs]. It’s a nice encouragement. But I was planning my life as a fishing woman on the outskirts of Cambodia. That’s a joke. I will be making more music."

She doesn't sound too thrilled. But who cares - I want another M.I.A. album!

How cute!

How cute is this? Rebecca Romijn has come up with a name for one of her two twins, which she is expecting. The name? Dolly! She is naming her child after her favorite singer/artist of all-time Dolly Parton! "I have been a fan of Dolly my whole life and can't think of a better role model for my children." She informed Dolly and asked for her wishes. In turn Dolly sent her 12 dozen roses with a card saying she was honored, and wished her best wishes.

I love this! Just last night Nicholas and I talked names for our first child (when the day comes). We have decided on: Amywinehouse Chapman-Tonozzi. Thoughts?

Daily Amy: Tops the List

Amy has been at the top of lots of lists for her music, her songwriting, her style, but now she has topped a list that she may have not wanted too. Concierge.com has made a listing of the top 10 worst hotel guests of all time. Amy topped thist list because of her stay in London's Riverbank Hotel back in 2007. Her one night stay left the room littered with bottles (both broken, empty, and spilled over into the floor), cigarette butts and burns everywhere, a burnt bra, spaghetti thrown everywhere, and pieces of the carpet cut up and glued onto the bathroom mirror.

In second place was Britney Spears for her 9 day stay in an LA hotel where she littered dirty diapers out of the window, and threw food under the bed - which rotten and molded, along with cigarette burns as well. Others have trashed hotels, had horrible demands, or treated the staff horribly.

Heres the full list of bad hotel goers:
1. Amy Winehouse
2. Britney Spears
3. Mariah Carey
4. Russel Crowe
4. Axl Rose
5. Michael Jackson
6. Naomi Campbell
7. Pete Doherty
8. Johnny Depp
9. Nicole Kidman
10. Courtney Love

Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Axl Rose, Russell Crowe and Michael Jackson also made the 15-strong list of stars who make housekeepers cringe.

The list by Concierge.com refers to the Rehab singer's stay in London's Riverbank Hotel, which was reportedly littered with bottles, cigarette butts and dirty underwear, and her alleged spaghetti-tossing and carpet-cutting incident in a Munich hotel room before the MTV Europe Music Awards last year.

As for Britney, Concierge.com's Lauren Highland says: "Despite being a resident in Los Angeles, she's spent the last several years checking in and out of upscale joints in the city like the Viceroy, Beverly Hills, Mondrian, and Bel-Air hotels - generally wreaking havoc and wearing out her welcome. It's not just the problem of the attendant paparazzi either: Britney is a notorious slob."

Diva demands from the Emancipation Of Mimi star Mariah and Nicole Kidman put them in fifth and eleventh place respectively, while Michael's baby-dangling incident placed him in 12th spot.

And Guns N Roses frontman Axl, Gladiator actor Russell, Naomi Campbell and Johnny Depp were cited for their temper tantrums.

"Thank goodness for famous divas and rock 'n' roll train wrecks. They're the sort of clients that make us feel better about ourselves after we've pestered the concierge for last-minute Broadway tickets or complained about too-firm pillows," quipped Lauren.

Hillary Clinton - An Amazing Woman

Now this is class! Hillary Clinton last night at the Democratic National Convention gave the best speech I have ever heard. I voted for Hillary, I would vote for her again for anything. She is the woman for me. And because she has switched her support over to Obama - I, in turn, will as well.

This is a tribute video played before Hillary's speech - beautiful.

Tour to end all tours

heres a kinda bad quality audio of vogue

Make way for the Queen!

Madonna has officially begun her Sticky and Sweet world tour! And the reviews have been STELLAR. Here is a review of opening night:

"Amid a dizzying barrage of computerised graphics, the Queen of Pop, in leather boots and figure-hugging pants, greeted her Welsh subjects by sitting imperiously on a futuristic black throne. She underwent eight costume changes which saw her return to the stage as a pole-dancing, break- dancing cheerleader and later as a gipsy singer with a travelling band of minstrels. Nobody does a big stadium show quite like Madonna. She might be pop's greatest female icon, but she does not rest on her laurels and this was a theatrical, two-hour blockbuster, featuring 16 dancers and a 12-piece band. This time, too, there was no need to resort to any shock tactics. If any of the 40,000 crowd had come along expecting any off-piste, Amy Winehouse moments, they would have gone home disappointed. Madonna doesn't do spontaneity. She is pop's consummate professional and the 653 hours of rehearsals which apparently went into this tour were evident in some choreographed routines which were nothing short of breathtaking.

The fact that the singer turned 50 earlier this month made her rubber-limbed gyrations all the more remarkable. If the Confessions tour was a no-holds-barred journey out on to the dance floor, the current show is more diverse. Maybe keento reinforce her musical legacy there are more crowd-pleasing older hits, with Into the Groove, Like a Prayer, Vogue and Borderline all featured. They are all done with amazing freshness, and she sounds wonderful - there is no lip synching here. Even You Must Love Me, from Evita, gets an airing. Accompanied by just an acoustic guitar, it was forcefully sung and provided one of the night's more intimate moments. With Madonna regularly strapping on a black guitar and bashing out some crisp but rudimentary power chords, the overall mood was more rock-orientated than previous tours. Hung Up, originally a homage to Abba, gets a hard rock makeover - which actually sounds superior to the excellent recorded version. She should release this as a single. The high point was La Isla Bonita, sung gipsy-style in a colourful throwback to Madonna's appearance at last year's Live Earth concert at Wembley.

However, it's not all without controversy. It is afterall Madonna were seeing perform. The least controversial, but still edgy moment, involved falling pop princess Britney Spears in a video montage with Madonna all tied up in bondage. They both look fantastic, and its nice to see Britney doing something again. Its a bit like mother like daughter - if your mother was considerably hotter than you ever were. And of course Madonna gets political. During one montage the two giant screens either side of the stage showed footage from war zones alongside images of John Lennon, Nelson Mandela, and, finally, U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama. Then as she gears into a song from her new album and image on John McCain is shown dancing arm in arm with Adolph Hitler. Very shocking sure, but oddly funny. If anyone was getting jittery that she was turning the tour into a political junket - those fears were put to rest. Spirits were soon roused by a sassy 4 Minutes, with Justin Timberlake duetting via a hologram, which was visually stunning. Kanye West appeared later to duet for "The Beat Goes On", and Pharrell made a couple of video appearances throughout. Some audience members in the front were yelling for certain songs to which Madonna replied: "I am in charge. I will choose the songs." And she chose well. This tour covered, masterfully, her entire career. Madonna has proven that she is the show woman all others still have to beat. She is, once again, at the top of her game."

Here is a video from associated press about the controversy of Madonna's tour!

Daily Amy 3: Ma in law is pissed

Amy Winehouse's mother-in-law is pissed off. She tells Newsoftheworld.co.uk:

"I'm shocked by the recent video. When I look at Amy I think: 'For Christ's sake, just get a grip of yourself.' "Enough is enough. As the police know Amy is a drug addict - and she has now been caught twice on film taking illegal drugs - they should arrest her and put her behind bars. Rehab clinics are a waste of money, unless you want them to work. Amy doesn't want to give up drugs, so she's got to learn the hard way in prison. Police have to act. She is making a mockery of the law. It has got to stop. The price Amy has got to pay is losing her freedom. Since Blake has been in prison Amy has just deteriorated more and more while he has managed to get himself clean inside. She has deteriorated to such an extent that I know even Blake can't save her now. Now I don't want Amy to visit my son. He is doing really, really well without her."

so says the mother who's son is in jail after bribing someone to cover up an assault and drug charges - and then caught doing heroine in jail and tagged with a longer sentence.

Daily Amy 2: Trouble Video #2

Another video of Amy Winehouse has surfaced of her doing cocaine. This one is from over a month ago, when Amy DJed at a London Pub. In the video she can be seen snorting something off of a cd, three times.

Daily Amy: Pops a star

Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch has landed a part in a new British movie. But the part won’t be much of a stretch for the cabbie - he’ll be playing a taxi driver. The untitled comedy is about the music industry and Mitch, 57, is said to be keen to get in front of the camera. Producers claim that Mitch has become just as famous as Amy, because he's always by her side during her many scrapes. The producers like his charm and say is a caring man. No release date is set.

Idol Albums

Well the winner of last seasons American Idol, David Cook, and the runner-up David Archeleta, have new albums coming out very soon. Who cares? I didn't really like either. However I was thrilled to hear that the 3rd person signed from last season was Jason Castro. Jason was my favorite the whole time - and I had/have a tv crush on him. I loved his voice, and I am so glad he is recording an album. It will be slated for release just in time for Christmas. Merry Christmas me.

Dancing With the Stars: Cast

The new cast of Dancing With the Stars has been released. This is a show I don't watch (unless Scary Spice is on it, in which case I am hooked). However this season may have me catching an episode or two. Theres so many has-beens, some people Ive never even heard of, and an actual star. In the has-beens catagory we have:
* Susan Lucci - soap star has-been
* Lance Bass - boy band has-been, and gay troubador
* Toni Braxton - emmy winning singing has-been
* Brooke Burke - model has-been
* Rocco DiSpirito - chef (the naked chef) has-been
* Cody Linley - kids show has-been

In the never-was catagory:
* Kim Kardashian - reality star neverwas
* Jeffrey Ross - standup neverwas
* Warren Sapp - football player neverwas
* Misty Mae Traener and Maurice Green - Olympic medalist hasbeen

And then we have:
* Chloris Leachman - oscar award winner, and old old old old lady

I saw her at the Bob Saget roast (where she was histerical) but she needed help to the microphone. This could be interesting!

A New American Idol

The people at Fox are tinkering with American Idol for the new season beginning in Janurary. Thank God! That show has gotten so stale. I think the new ideas sound great - and will make me want to watch the show this go-round. The first HUGE change is that there will now be 4 judges. Kara DioGuardi (pictured), a grammy-nominated song writer, will join Simon, Paula, and Randy at the judges table. Rumor has it Paula is pissed that shes no longer the only woman on the judges stand. No idea of what kind of judge she will be, I hope shes a female Simon and will stand up to him.

Also they will be focusing more on the Hollywood round, and less on the bad auditions. Which I also think is a good thing. The audition weeks take FOREVER. Like 4-5 weeks long. Then the Hollywood week is wrapped into 2 episodes. NOW, they will make the auditions shorter, so that America can get to know the Hollywood finalists. Thats great. Now there wont be people in the top 12 that we've never seen before.

I hope the talent pool is better, and the show is more exciting.

Perfume?

Kate Moss, supermodel and super druggie, has launched a new perfume. And is it just me or does the ad look like a crack pipe to you too?

OBiden

Well its not Hillary. So I am a little pissed.
But I like Joe Biden.
Maybe more than Obama.

Another crazy

The Democratic Convention in Denver is going rather well, it appears that Michelle Obama and Mr. Kennedy himself gave great speeches supporting Barack Obama. However things weren't as smooth as a sane person would hope. 4 people were arrested in Denver outside the convention center for hatching a plan to assisinate Obama. Apparently the 4 had guns, binoculars, a van, and walkie talkies. Luckily these crazies are locked up for the time being. No matter who you support, you shouldnt go to stupid extremes like this. Disgraceful!

It's Cancelled

Well it looks like Denise Richard's reality show "Its Complicated" should change its title to "It's Cancelled". There will be no second season. Shockingly E has said: "The show started off with good audience results, but then it just dwindled. Denise turned into an unappealing reality star. People don't want to see a mother of 2 talking and acting like that. The show will not return." - Sounds like shes pissed someone at E off.

26

So tomorrow is my birthday. I will be turning 26 years old. 25 has turned out to be a pretty good year, if I do say so myself. And since 24 was utter hell - its been a nice surprise. I have met some great people, including the love of my life, and I have been able to continue to spend time with the people who have made my life up to this point. I dont know what my resolutions are for my 26th year. I mainly am just looking forward to forgetting all the stress, and tiredness, and down times, and just have a great night with my friends up here in Chicago. There's bowling planned and dancing and drinking and fun to be had. I look forward to it. Very .. very much.

Daily Amy: Bad News

Well, it lasted about 32 hours - but Amy is out of rehab. She left this morning before even completing 2 days of rehab. Here she is pictured getting out of her car, barefoot and smoking. Oh no. Why Amy why?

Big Brother - Still going

Big Brother 10 is still chugging along. I like this season. Its not as dirty and disgusting as previous seasons. However the people are pretty un-likeable. That is - besides RENNY (pictured left) who is the best. Keesha whom I used to love, I still like, but shes slipping. It all just makes me miss Shelia.

While Amy is gone....

While Amy Winehouse is in rehab, London has a new celebrity punching out fans. And its Britain's second most important import (after Amy of course), Lily Allen. She has been tragically falling downwards too, but no one seems to care. I dont know if its because she is significantly less talented than Amy Winehouse, or if Amy's just more intriguing. But alas, Lily Allen is acting up. She punched a photographer last night leaving and club, and burnt another one with a cigarette. No one ever sues Amy when she beats the shit out of them - however Lily has been served with a lawsuit.

Douchebag goes fishing

look

look

I am so glad that our president is busy with getting us out of Iraq (or as he calls it "winning the war") ... or doing any sort of work - besides looking like a douchebag.

She won't stop calling

Jennifer Aniston reportedly is so distraught over her breakup with John Mayer, that she has been calling Brad Pitt for solace. A source says she has spoken with him twice late at night in hysterics. Reportedly Brad wasn't going to speak to her, but Angelina Jolie has allowed the conversations. "Angie was happy that Brad was there for Jen when she needed to talk. Angelina is okay with them being friends. She encourages it actually." The source said.

Roseanne Gone Wild

Apparently if youre famous you have to endorse Barack Obama. So says Roseanne Barr (who is trying her best to be the new Rosie .. aka a loudmouthed female comic who is all political) ... however Rosie usually is more informed and speaks quite better than Roseanne could ever wish.

Angelina Jolie has not said that she doesn't support Obama, however she did say this: "I haven't decided who I am voting on yet. I am waiting to hear how Obama stands on issues like international justice, refugees and how to address the needs of children in crisis around the world". -- Sounds fair enough huh?

Big assed Roseanne responded with this (as if someone had asked her for her opinion. "Angelina Jolie is wicked. Her and her vacuous hubby Brad Pitt make about $40m a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away a couple million of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more. I just wanna ask her 'Aren’t you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the Republican Party’s worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan?'She is just evil."

I would like to tell Roseanne this. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, based only on their latest children's photos gave 14 million dollars to charity. That's added onto half of the salary for "Wanted" which Angelina Jolie donated to charity. Just because she has more money than Roseanne will ever see - doesn't mean she has to dig into her for it, just because she hasn't jumped on the Obama bandwagon. And she certainly is not republican - she just seems to care about issues and which politician believes closer in what she believes in. Isn't that how we all should vote?

Roseanne continued and slammed Angelina's dad, actor John Voight, for being a republican. "Jon Voight is a frightened little girl in a pink ballet tutu, who acts like Obama just wandered in from the rain forest with a bone through his nose and a Communist pamphlet in his loincloth." This is all harsh and stupid. No one asked you Roseanne.

I hate republicans as much as the next liberal. But sheesh.

Married!

The cutest lesbians in town Ellen Degeneras and Portia De Rossi were married this weekend. How beautiful do they both look? Wow! Best of luck to them both.

Daily Amy 2: The Paps

This is Amy leaving Rehab to go buy fireworks for her forthcoming firework display for Blake, her husband. How sad - look at all those people standing outside of a rehab center. Luckily though - Amy did return.

Daily Amy 1: Fireworks

Amy Winehouse has asked permission to spend 500 dollars on fireworks to be displayed at her rehab center. The reason? So her husband can see them. His jail cell is only miles from where Amy is attending rehab. She got permission to leave the rehabilitation center to go out and buy a lavish fireworks display. "This way he can look out of his barred cell window, and I can look out of mine, and we can see the same thing. I love him so much."

Best Movie Poster Ever

Cho Arrives

Tonight is the premiere of "The Cho Show" on VH1. Margaret Cho's new reality show! Thats right! If there's someone you should give a reality show to - its Margaret. Someone funny AND interesting (with something to say too). The show will feature her parents (including her mother whom shes always does in her act), her crazy weird looking, but friendly, midget friend/assistant, her gays, anal bleaching, standup, and madcap humor. I cannot wait for it!!

Haters!

If youre gay, bi, trans, or curio (or you are supportive of any of those groups) then you have no choice for a presidential candidate who will stand up 100% for gay rights. This is sad, and discouraging. Both candidates stood in a public forum with Pastor Rick Warren on the 16th of August, in front of a crowd of christian-evangelicals (aka crazies). Obama agreed to join McCain saying he had nothing to hide, nor anything that he feels "undermines" their beliefs. So the event turned into a gay-hate seminar.

When the candidates were asked to define marriage, this is what followed:
McCain: "Union. A union between one man and one woman only. Plain and simple, that is my definition of marriage. I strongly support preserving the unique status of marriage between a man and a woman."
Obama: "I believe marriage is a union between a man and a woman. For me, as a Christian - God is also involved in the equation. It's a sacred union."

- can you say: trying to win votes Obama? Of course at the Christian crowd he puts God into it. And hides the hints that he "says" he supports gay rights -- guess not enough to admit it in front of this crowd.

When will these candidates - and the damn voters - realize there is much more important issues to govern than love between 2 people. What about economy? War? The deficit? Global warming? NAH - lets just spend all our time on the gays.

Gays love having Babies!

Just like Clay Aiken before him, Ricky Martin proved one thing yesterday: gays love having babies!! The babies were had by a surrogate mother to which Martin was a sperm donor. Now Ricky Martin has never said he was gay - but America and the rest of the world has, including myself. And I love gay men with kids! So hooray to him!

Coming Soon: No Darkness Round My Stone

My new show; opens September 4th.
Runs through Oct. 11
Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays

Bad News America

According to the Reuters poll (which is known as the most popular and factual poll) John McCain has taken a huge 5 point lead over Obama. 46% for McCain and 41% for Obama. Just a month ago Obama led by 7 points. Why the huge change?? I dunno, but its scary. I am no Obama fan - but I hate McCain. This is bad news.

Daily Amy 1: Back to Rehab

Amy Winehouse was just last night booked into the small Focus 12 clinic in Bury St Edmunds, a very exclusive rehab community. A comedian from the UK, Russell Brand, who used to be a big tabloid target for his drug addiction, beat a 10 year addiction at the clinic. It is only 15 miles from Category C Highpoint Prison, where Amy's hubby Blake Fielder-Civil was recently sent after being moved from Pentonville Prison in London earlier this month.

Her father Mitch Winehouse said: "This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good."

I honestly think Amy needs Blake to get through this. I certainly hope this works. This is a performance from last weekends V music festival. Certainly not Amy's best work but ... it is quite an emotional performance. She is changing many of her lyrics to accomodate messages to Blake - here she changes quite a lot of "Back to Black"

She Rocks!

My blog was named after this song by Alanis Morissette, from her latest album Flavors of Entanglement. The song of course is Citizen of the Planet. And Alanis here proves, as always, that shes so much better live. Love her, love this.

The Playmate

Looks like its going to be a merry christmas for all Lil' Kim fans (I guess). Announced today, the december centerfold.

“’I am willing to shell out any amount for Kim, I’ve been trying to get her to do it for years!’ Hugh Hefner said in a recent interview. Kim's people however have said: "Kim has denied Hugh's offer previously because the money was not right. This time the money was right."

LOVE IT! Make that money! I may actually go buy a playboy (not for the vag of course, just for the article)i hate h

HILLARIOUS!

Cancer Free!

FANTASTIC NEWS! Christina Applegate is 100% cancer free. She recently had a procedure to remove the cancerous lump in her breast, and luckily it had not spread anywhere. Doctors have told her that she is cancer free and completely healthy! Wonderful news. Now I hope she get awarded an Emmy next month - what a get well present that would be!
